Our girls weekend getaway was absolutely the best ever - thanks to our wonderful host and her sublime hideaway by the lake. From the minute we entered our cozy retreat with the fire burning and the lake and woods right outside the door, we knew we were in for a treat.

This cabin was perfect!!! Anything and everything was there for us but best of all was the lake just a few houses away. You could see it from the front porch. Bikes to ride, the neighborhood and the scenery couldn't have been better. The home had everything we needed, the bed was amazing.

The cottage is steps away from lake Ontario, a 20 minute walk to main street Niagara on the Lake, yet so quiet for a relaxing and most enjoyable stay. It’s everything the listing described and more……Pros include an incredible kitchen and outdoor patio where we had BBQs, the bathroom was awesome and bedrooms are tastefully decorated and Cons….well, we didn’t find any!.

This cottage oozes romantic charm! Whether it be early morning coffee on the front porch or a glass of wine on the private back deck ,we had an amazing two weeks. Strolls to the park to watch the sunsets over the lake or the bike rides to town, everything is right there. This elegant cottage has everything you need for a romantic escape! Diane was friendly and accommodating. The place was spotless ... the linens were crisp and the towels fluffy. Can't wait to come back. 10 out of 10!

The Flying Cloud cottage was everything we hoped for, and more!
The cottage is so beautifully restored and decorated we found ourselves taking multiple pictures to use as design ideas in our own home. Spacious, comfortable, spotless, full of character and located in a prime part of NOTL. We enjoyed the sunset every night with a glass of wine from the park overlooking Lake Ontario that is steps away from the house. We walked or used the bikes to ride in to town and to visit the many beautiful wineries in the area. The gorgeous outdoor space at the cottage was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Truly a restorative and wonderfully indulgent trip.

As so many reviewers have said, the cottage is beautifully decorated, spacious and private (including the back yard), stocked with everything you need and more! Diane and Mark are available by phone or text, to assist you with booking restaurants, giving advice on wine tours and sightseeing activities in the area. The best hosts! We were so pleasantly surprised to find that the beach, only 100 yards away, was so private. Located on a cliff, with shade trees, picnic tables and benches, and stairs down to the water, and parking for only a few cars. Ryerson is the neighborhood beach park. Not only can you swim, picnic and relax there, but the sunsets are among the most beautiful we have seen. Don't hesitate to book this amazing property! You can't help but fall in love with it.

This was the perfect accomodation for a professional on the road with the comforts of home! Everything from the comfortable beds, the beautiful bathroom and amazing shower, laundry and a kitchen full of useful appliances! All of which are prerequisites that I look for in an executive rental!
The Flying Cloud is definitely worth a return visit!

The cottage is wonderfully equipped with everything you'd need for a visit to the area, and the location is perfect. We loved being so close to the water and a short walk or bike ride to downtown. The location couldn't have been any better! Thanks for making our stay memorable Diane and Mark. We look forward to visit again next year.
